Spotlight on First Night Fishers in IndianaFishers, Indiana will be the site of the newest First Night festival when the town hosts its first-ever New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31, 2009. A suburb of Indianapolis, Fishers has a growing population that currently numbers about 65,000. Ranked the 10th best place to live in America by Money magazine in 2008, Fishers is home to several annual festivals, including the Fishers Freedom Festival, the Flavor of Fishers and the Fishers Renaissance Faire. This year’s First Night Fishers event hopes to draw on the successes of those events. Break-a-leg, Fishers!
